Our selection of dentures at our Southampton and Doylestown, PA dental office locations make it simple for you to replace several or all of your teeth at any given time.
Full Denture/Plate
A full denture, or “plate,” replaces all of your upper or lower teeth at once. If any decayed or diseased teeth are still present, they will need to be extracted first. The new set of teeth is then made to conform along your gum tissues, creating a tight suction that will seal them in place while you wear them.
Partial Option
Removable partial dentures replace your missing teeth while helping you retain your natural, healthy teeth. Instead of being held in place by suction, partial dentures clasp into place around the other teeth, giving you added stability.
Implant Supported Overdentures
If you have had dental implants placed, we can provide you with a fixed implant overdenture that fits securely in place all day long. These are a great option for patients who lack adequate bone support for a traditional denture. Implant dentures can be removable or fixed, but both give you ultimate reliability throughout your day to day activities.
Caring For Your Dentures
To keep your mouth healthy, all removable dentures or partials should be taken out each night. Place the prosthesis in a cup of denture cleansing solution to loosen any deposits or buildup. Brush the denture thoroughly the next morning, rinse, and then place it back into your mouth. Be sure to clean your gum tissues as well, to prevent infections.
Remember to visit our Southampton or Doylestown office twice a year to have your denture cleaned, inspected, and adjusted as necessary.
If you are missing all of your teeth, then you may want to even consider using dental implants to support an overdenture.Call to schedule your consultation today.
